Community Caring for the Environment
Dunsborough Coast and Land Care (Inc.) or DCALC as we are locally known, is an incorporated, not-for-profit, community volunteer group who care for the local environment of Dunsborough and Cape Naturaliste.
Our region contains many natural assets including the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, Geographe Bay, Cape Naturaliste Streams, an extensive diversity of flora, ecological plant communities and rare fauna.
Community Caring for the Environment
Dunsborough’s Coast and Land Care volunteers look after local bush reserves, streams and foreshore, through working bees, by promoting awareness of local issues and ecological values and advocating for better management.

Through leadership and education, we inspire and engage the Dunsborough community to improve our land, biodiversity and water resources.

To be aware of environmental concerns and issues and the effects of activities in our area.
To initiate and conduct strategic projects to protect the environment and biodiversity.
To advocate for sustainable development that minimises environmental degradation.
To engage and educate our community on environmental issues, inspiring appreciation.
To liaise, cooperate and collaborate with other community groups with similar objectives.
